With private air travel becoming more popular, the town of McCall, Idaho, continues to embrace and improve its city-owned McCall Municipal Airport (KMYL). It is categorized as a “general aviation” facility for turbo-props and private jets and has become quite a popular stop, and vacation home setting, for recreational pilots in particular.

As the home of the Western U.S. Smoke Jumpers, pilots can rest assured that the runway is not only in commendable shape, it has an asphalt surface that measures 6,108 by 75 feet and has a runway designation of 16/34.

On-site there are hangers for rental, temporary storage facilities, an active tower and appropriate fuel resources.

National and international connections can be made through the Boise Airport (BOI) which is two hours from McCall, Idaho.
