Mid-Winter Property Sale at River Ranch in Mc Call, Idaho Prompts Potential for Strong 2017 Real Estate Sales

(MC CALL, IDAHO) March 10, 2017 — The recent sale of a snow-covered lot at the prominent River Ranch home development in McCall, Idaho has authorities in the real estate business cautiously predicting a strong 2017 spring sales season.

“It’s not the norm,” said Chris Reino, senior real estate sales consultant for River Ranch and representative for the seller. “Most people buy bare land when they can see it, especially when one is purchasing land in a private ranch-style community like River Ranch.”

According to Reino, the half-acre lakefront lot is one of the community’s popular “Cabin Lots” that is completely covered in three feet of snow.  “We had to plow a path to get our clients onto their future home site,” he said.

With the unusual timing of the mid-winter sale, Reino is cautious with an early 2017 prediction that this sale may very well indicate a strong year for real estate sales throughout McCall, Idaho.  “I have been in business for over 17 years, and I have never experienced such a wintertime surge in interest to purchase a home or property in our mountain community.  There is a lot of optimism in town.”

Michael Hart, president of River Ranch, noted that the most recent buyers said that they selected River Ranch for their second home “because of the location, views, development layout, and amenities exceeded all the requirements of their family’s active outdoor lifestyle.”

The 458-acre River Ranch home development in McCall, Idaho, stretches two and a half miles along the Payette River. Within this ranch-style community are 11 ranch-sized parcels that are on the market today that range from over four acres to 9.53 acres and are positioned on or adjacent to the river’s edge or naturally-fed man-made lakes.

At this time, one additional quarter-acre Cabin Lot is on the market. The property sits on the edge of one of the resort’s lakes and is just steps from the community Ranch House and pool.

River Ranch is located at an elevation of 5,021 feet and is in the middle of Idaho’s West Central Mountains.  It is two hours north of Boise, Idaho, which was recently selected as “One of the Best Places to Live” by Sunset magazine.
