Jo grew up in Michigan and began moving west in 1981.  She landed in Boulder, Colorado for the next 12 years and completed her college degree at Denver’s Regis University while working for the Ball Aerospace Corporation.  It was at Ball that she met her husband, Jim, of now 25 years.  They have 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren living in the Denver area.  In search of less people and an array of outdoor recreational opportunities, Jo and Jim continued to move west.  They had a 6-year excursion in Stevensville, Montana before discovering the gorgeous, resort town of McCall, Idaho.  After 10 years, Jo still pinches herself everyday because she has the opportunity to live and work in this beautiful community full of very active people.

Jo is an avid fly-fisherman and enjoys the many rivers and mountain lakes that the McCall area offers.  She enjoys both alpine and Nordic skiing and never fails to mention to McCall visitors that she can be on the chairlift at Brundage Mountain Resort about 15 minutes after leaving her office!  Jo also enjoys sailing, tennis, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, hunting, camping, motorcycle riding, curling, working out, reading, knitting, weaving, gardening and cooking.  She loves sharing many of these activities with her husband as well as her yellow lab, Titia.

Jo has worked for McCall River Ranch since 2005 when she set up their sales office in an on-site construction trailer and began coordinating their marketing and sales efforts.  Her office was considerably upgraded with the 2007 completion of the Members’ Ranch House from where she now manages sales, marketing and owner amenities.
