Winter Is the Perfect Time To Buy
When the snow settles over the Idaho mountains, that doesn’t mean the real estate market freezes. Winter is actually the perfect time to buy, especially if you are looking to build come spring!
At River Ranch, we have made the buying process as easy as possible. Each site has been meticulously surveyed and reviewed to create a site plan that provides a construction and landscape envelope situated to best take advantage of each parcel’s topography and view corridors.
Plus, our entire community has been thoughtfully designed and cultivated. Mature landscaping in the designated open spaces, the addition of more than 3,500 mature trees to the community and manicured homesites with level, grassy expanses mean that you don’t have to worry about unforeseen obstacles or drainage issues when the snow melts.
If you are looking for a new place to call home, consider these three tips to making the most of a winter homesite hunt:
No matter the season, the wow factor on any piece of property is the view. River Ranch sites (depending on the location within the community) offer views of Brundage Mountain, JugHandle Mountain, the West Mountain Range, the Payette River and of the five lakes within the community. So look up!
Make it an Adventure
Walking a site gets a lot more adventurous in the winter. To really experience all that a particular property has to offer, we recommend getting out of the car and strapping on a pair of snowshoes or Nordic skis. Your trek around the perimeter and through the homesite will also give you a nice preview of some of our favorite winter recreation at River Ranch – and when you are an owner, you can continue the fun right out of your back door!
Explore the Neighborhood
Your personal piece of property is only half of the story at River Ranch. Stop into the Ranch House, take a peek at the community pool and hot tub, explore the 2.5 miles of private Payette River frontage (including our Riverside Picnic Shelter), tour the trail system and pop into the Trapper Cabin. It is all part of the experience at River Ranch, and easy to enjoy in any season!
